Picked up some nice items today that almost didn't fit in my car.

Helsinki OS 1940 and Adrian lot

Some souvenirs from the Olympic games that should have been held in Helsinki 1940 but was canceled due to the war.

French Adrian helmet M26 army modell - shell is nicely marked Carpentier (Cusset) CARPENTIER

Bildtidningen Signal 1943 1-24 and a M1887 "Snuskburk"

Latest addition to the collection

First of is a Swedish cooper cookware/pot modell m/1887. Marked Karlskrona in a nice condition
Second item is a hardbound 1943 collection of 24 issues of Bildtidningen Signal. Very nice to have these issues in a book rather than in single issues as I have had before.

 

This is all the single issues I had before I managed to find the hardbound book!

K98 & Civil helmet lot + another "Livpäls" m/1944

Another load of items arrived this week. The lot consist of

Livpäls m/44 this time in size 2 that would be a between medium and large
M1934 Civic steel helmet
M1935 Fire helmet with neck protection leather
M1938 Luftschutz helmet
M1940 Beaded Luftschutz helmet
M1940 Relic helmet
K98 Bajonett with matching number that came with belt and the beltbuckle with KM marked tab. The story behind these where that the sellers wife's grandfather was a customs officer at Gotland during the war and received these from a German soldier.

Försvarets Livpäls / fårskinnspäls M/1913,42,44

The fur coat started with m/1905 and was followed by m/1913, m/1942 and finaly m/1944. There where only small differences on the different models.  It where supposed to be used with the regular uniform underneath

The fur coat was issued in tre sizes 1,2 and 3.
Used by SFK Swedish volunteers in the Finish winter war

White one is marked single crown and 1941, with size stamp 3

Grey one is made by Ö.S.B, Örebro sport & bilekipering, Militär utrusningar
This one is size stamped 1

Livpälsen började tillverkas med modellbeteckning m/1905 och efterföljdes därefter av m/1913 m/1942 och slutligen m/1944. Det är endast små skillnader på de olika modellerna. Den är tänkt att användas över den vanliga uniform

Pälsen utfärdades i tre storlekar 1,2 och 3. Användes bl a i Finska vinterkriget av svenska frivilliga
